Since beginning this blog several weeks ago I have realized blogging takes time, time that is rare and precious. So faced with the decision to blog or get my work done and still try to remain somewhat rested I have frequently opted for the later.
Oh and as I woke up this morning I realized it is the Feast of Sts Perpetua and Felicity. Which means it is my quarter century old day.
So people know what they will eventually get there are a ton of things blog worthy the first of which is political in nature, of course. With John McCain clinching the Republican Party’s nomination for President I find all those people who in the primaries were so opposed to him as a candidate are jumping on the McCain bandwagon now. I have never hid the fact that out of all the candidates we have, McCain was my clear choice. Now with the help of the USCCB’s document on voting from the Catholic perspective. I believe I’ve made the right choice. But that is for a blog when I have time to outline all the reasons.
For now just know Holy Week is coming quickly and Holy Week is a week of no work and much more enjoyable endeavors. Look for many more blog posts coming once things slow down a bit. One might even be about all the things we have been doing that are taking so much time.
